Dave Kim has over 30 years of experience as a musician.  He enjoys sharing his passion for music.  He has won numerous awards and shared the stage with bands such as Hootie and the Blowfish, Third Eye Blind, Dishwalla, Marcy Playground, the Steadmans, Everclear, DJ Dan, DJ AM, DJ Solomon, DJ Donovan, DJ Zhaldee, Travis Barker, Stroke 9, Thriving Ivory, Wake, Virgil and Flying Blind, The Temptations.  He plays many instruments including the violin, piano, guitar, electric violin, bass and mandolin.  One of his favorite activities is to customize music for weddings.  He has provided music for over 200 weddings around the world.

		Dave’s pursuit of music began at the age of 4 when Dave’s parents realized that he had a talent for music.  Music became a focus for his education.  He started studying the classical violin and piano at Maytan's Music Center. As a young child, he received many solo awards at local and state wide competitions.  As a teenager, Dave was honored with an invitation to join the University of Nevada orchestra and begin private lessons with Phillip Ruder, the concertmaster of the Reno Philharmonic.

Dave has been involved with several popular bands over the past 12 years.  In 1997, he joined a band called Phat Couch and had the chance to share the stage with 7 Seconds, an eighties punk band.  In 1999, Dave moved to San Francisco and began playing and has recorded with local talents Chris Clouse and Vienna Teng.  Since that time, Dave has been appearing regularly with various artists at large and small venues from St. Tropez to San Francisco.
